Yes, you can use your current fixed phone number on Aussie Broadband's VoIP service. If your phone service is with another provider, we'll help you port the number over to our VoIP service before you cancel your existing account. With a VoIP service, you'll make calls through the internet and so you'll have your phone service bundled with your nbn® plan. You'll be able to use your existing handset as well, unless it's a pulse dialling phone (such as a rotary one).

How do I connect my home phone to my nbn® modem?

If you have brought your own modem to use with Aussie Broadband, you will need to configure your VoIP to be compatible with our services. You can access the basic settings to setup your modem to use its VoIP capabilities in our VoIP settings guide (opens in new tab) .
