HoMie is a streetwear label and social enterprise, with a store on Brunswick Street, Melbourne. They dedicate 100% of their profits towards supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship - equipping them with the skills, confidence, and experiences to be more work-ready and better prepared for their future.
We have supported HoMie since 2020, keeping them connected and ensuring the fantastic outcomes for their young people continue to grow and can reach across the state.
perth observatory
The Perth Observatory has served WA for over 120 years and remains actively involved in the service of public education.
The team at Perth Observatory don't just use our services for day-to-day operations. They also use them to connect with scientists around the world, sharing data on space junk and other findings from their telescopes. By keeping them online, we help support the use of their R-COP telescope for research and studies worldwide.
freemans reach rural fire service
In 2023, Freemans Reach Brigade in New South Wales celebrated its 72nd birthday by moving into a brand-new fire station. We helped connect the station with the wider community and world by providing our internet services through the Helping Communities Connect program.
“Thanks to Aussie Broadband's generous support, funds provided by our community don't need to go to covering internet costs and can now stretch further, helping us help our community in times of need,” they said.
morwell neighbourhood house
The Morwell Neighbourhood House helps those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage, or distress in Morwell, Victoria, and surrounding communities.
By providing discounted internet services, we in turn help Morwell Neighbourhood House provide their essential support to people experiencing hardship, such as by delivering programs to address food security issues, reduce social isolation, and enhance wellbeing, or providing these resources to other organisations, community groups, government departments, and philanthropic bodies to grow these programs to reach more Australians in need.
